February’s rave in Belgrade is headlined by DJ HEARTSTRING, masters of groove-driven rhythms and old-school hard trance melodies, known for energetic and emotional sets that blend genres with ease. Joining them is BAUGRUPPE90, a Berlin duo whose sound fuses 90s influences, house aesthetics, and early-2000s techno. Also on the lineup is DJ Cringey, bringing an experimental spirit through acid, EBM, and house. All artists arrive with their Belgrade debuts, while local heroes RAR and Vrag complete the lineup. DJ HEARTSTRING - The duo Leo and Jonas, better known as DJ Heartstring, have always balanced between melancholy and euphoria, delivering energetic pop and hard trance bangers to dance floors and festivals around the world. Although they now gather tens of millions of listeners, their story begins in Berlin, where they discovered electronic music as teenagers and started experimenting with production. From small intimate parties and playing DJ Hero, to their first real DJ sets at just 16, Leo and Jonas shaped their style without pressure — guided purely by passion. When clubs reopened after the pandemic, their sets — packed with unreleased tracks and euphoric moments — proved they were ready to take the crowd’s energy to the maximum. DJ Heartstring are not just a duo — they are a symbol of dedication and pure, relentless dance-floor energy. Baugruppe90 - Based in Berlin, the epicenter of techno and nightlife culture, BAUGRUPPE90 are the creative duo Louis Köhler and Paul Vogler. Inspired by brutalist industrial aesthetics, they combine influences from the mid-90s (DNB, house) and early 2000s (techno), creating a distinctive and timeless sound. Their arrival on the scene was welcomed as a breath of fresh air — both live and online. The core of their identity lies in impressive releases, further amplified by a strong dedication to visual branding and ongoing collaboration with graphic artists, offering audiences a complete audio-visual experience. DJ Cringey - Born in New Zealand and now based in Berlin, DJ Cringey brings together everything electronic music has to offer — techno, acid, EBM and house — blending them into experimental subgenres enriched with eclectic vocals. Her musical journey began at house parties, where she mixed genres in a “cringe” way that the crowd unexpectedly loved — which is how her nickname was born. Today she remains faithful to her unique mixing style, carefully selecting tracks to make each performance distinctive. “The key is not taking yourself too seriously,” she says — and that very energy is what makes her sound authentic. RAR - Rajko Ristanović, known as RAR, has been DJing and producing since 1999, and in the early 2000s he was part of Belgrade’s second techno wave. His style is strongly influenced by early Detroit techno, yet continues to evolve through modern subgenres from which he draws inspiration for versatile sets. Depending on the slot, RAR can deliver an electrifying intro full of groove, push the crowd into hard-bounce melodies, or powerfully close the night with a selection of schranz and hard techno. Vrag - A long-time presence in the underground currents of the local scene, DJ Vrag brings a fresh yet committed approach to his sets. He incorporates experience gathered across various genres, winning the audience over with groove-heavy rhythms and old-school melodies. His palette spans from DUB TECHNO, through DETROIT influences, to Industrial Techno moments, enriched with modern techniques of techno presentation. In one phrase: BLAST FROM THE PAST. What sets his performances apart are the energetic build-ups, followed by decisive and smooth mixing technique. Another rave that will surpass all expectations of the Belgrade crowd and mark an even stronger beginning to the Music Reactions 2026 season.
